Plant City Local Attractions
Plant City Florida is unlike no other small to mid sized
city that you've visited.
Aside from the warm weather, the not too distant bay area
and the endless beaches of Florida, there are a few other
things to see and do that you're going to want to take in.
The attractions of the city are nearly too numerous to
count, it's history beginning even prior to the Civil war,
with countless historical buildings and sites to keep you
interested as well as a few other things that add interest
to the area.

The Florida Strawberry Festival -- which is held
each February and March, with the upcoming festival
slated to be held from February 26 - March 8, 2009 in
Plant City.
Whatever you like, you're going to find it at the
Florida Strawberry Festival. There are exhibits of
nearly everything under the sun, including commerce,
livestock, arts and crafts, fine art, horticulture and
even some very diverse ethnic traditions and displays. |
The Florida Strawberry Festival also includes contests,
programs for youth and some very big name entertainment
alone with parades, floats and marching bands to round it
out.

Dinosaur world -- an outside museum thats about a
lot more than just dinosaurs.
Dinosaur World features a lush outside setting that
features prehistoric animals in a natural setting and is
appealing to natural science students, schools and
families alike. |
